The San Francisco Bay Area, famous for its fine weather, is a huge melting pot of ethnic cultures. Here’s a quick profile of the Bay Area as it relates to the Reunion. If you are particularly interested in any one or more of these items, please let us know.
The Bay Area is home to numerous high-tech startups in such fields as electronics and bio-medicine. The Silicon Valley serves as World Headquarters for Adobe, Apple, Cisco, eBay, Genentech, Google, Hewlett Packard, Sun, Yahoo, and thousands more.
The Bay Area boasts two famous universities, Berkeley and Stanford. University of California, Berkeley is only 10 minutes from the hotel venue.
As one of the two western gateways to the U.S., it serves as a springboard to many tourist attractions. Some side-trip suggestions (and how long to drive there):
